Fonds consists of photographs of View Royal scenery and people, including but not limited to: Esquimalt Harbour, Cole Island, street views during significant snowfalls, View Royal Scouts, and View Royal softball teams. The fonds includes local newsletters, and invitations and programmes for local events. The fonds also consists of photographs, invitations, objects, clippings, written reminiscences, and memorial service programmes pertaining to the View Royal Fire Department, that were collected or created when Pete Bishop was a volunteer firefighter. The fonds also includes a videocassette of interviews with members of the VRFD in 1998.
